The Municipality of Arran-Elderslie owns and operates three urban water and sewer systems in Chesley, Paisley and Tara. If you have questions about Water and Sewer services, you can contact the Water & Sewer Foreman.

Pay your water and sewer bill
You can pay your water and sewer bill with the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie many different ways. Bills are sent out every other month. You can find more information on rates and charges below.
Internet or Telephone Banking |
Telephone and online banking payments can be made through most major financial institutions. You can also make in-person bill payments at most bank branches. Use your 11 digit account number (your customer number) when setting up your water utility payment. Some banks require 15 digits- if your bank requires this, please fill in zeros at the beginning of your account number to fill in the 15 spaces. |

Pre-Authorized Payment |
If you pay a water and sewer bill for a Paisley property, you can sign up for pre-authorized payments. The payment will be debited from your bank account on the bill due date. |
Email of Future Sewer/Water Bills |
In an effort to become more efficient and effective in processing Property Tax and Sewer/Water Bills, the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie is offering residents and businesses the opportunity to receive these bills by e-mail as opposed to regular mail. We see this green initiative as a value added service to the residents and business owners of Arran-Elderslie and hope that you agree.
Please fill out an online form or contact the Municipal Office for a paper copy of the form to switch from receiving your Property Tax or Sewer/Water Bills in the mail to receiving them by e-mail. |
Water Restrictions - By-law 21-99
Odd municipality street-numbered properties may water on odd-numbered calendar days, and even municipally street-numbered properties may water on even-numbered calendar days. The permitted times for watering for recreation or irrigational purposes are between the hours of 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. on the same day, and between the hours of 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. of the same day. These restrictions are in effect at all times.
