The Municipality of Arran-Elderslie maintains approximately 451 km of roads and streets in Arran-Elderslie. We also own and maintain over 65 bridges throughout the Municipality. The Public Works Department plans and directs the construction and maintenance of Municipal roads, bridges, parking lots, culverts, streetlights, sidewalks, civic address numbers, Municipal drains and other infrastructure.

Entrances, Driveways and Culverts
If you are looking to build a new driveway or modify an existing one, you must contact the Municipality. The Municipal Entrance Permit Policy can be viewed below, along with the application form. You can view the fees regarding entrance permits, driveways and culverts in our Fees By-Law.
Completed applications can be mailed or delivered to the Municipal Office or sent electronically to the Public Works Manager.
