Kennel Licences

You must obtain a license if you wish to operate a kennel in Arran-Elderslie. A kennel is defined as any part of a lot, building, structure or establishment where more than three dogs are kept. Licenses for kennels will only be issued for those kennels located on property which comply with the Comprehensive Zoning By-laws for the Corporation. 

If you wish to operate a Kennel in the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie, you must fill out an application. Upon completion of the form you will be contacted by the Animal Control Officer to schedule an inspection of your facilities. You will then be invoiced for your license fee.
