Federal Gas Tax Fund Projects

The federal Gas Tax Fund (GTF) is a permanent source of funding provided up front, twice-a-year, to provinces and territories, who in turn flow this funding to their municipalities to support local infrastructure priorities. The federal Gas Tax Fund delivers over $2 billion every year to 3600 communities across the country. In recent years the funding has supported approximately 4000 projects each year. Communities select how best to direct the funds with the flexibility to make strategic investments 

The following projects were completed with our 2020 Federal Gas Tax Funds:

• Pavement Treatment Arran Con 10
• Micro surface treatment Conc 8 Arran East and Conc 2 Elderslie

2021 Projects include:

• Con 2 Arran $325,000
• Chesley 4^th Ave SW $171,377
• Brook St. Tara (Francis to School) $416,000
