Municipality Hires Full-Time Fire Chief

It is with great pleasure that the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie announces the appointment of Steve Tiernan as the new full-time Fire Chief.

Steve Tiernan comes to the Municipality as a graduate of the Humber College Fire Service Management Program, with Fire Officer 4 certification, and has extensive training in Emergency Management. He has also been in the role of an instructor with live fire and technical rescue. As a Bruce County resident, he will bring years of experience as a former Fire Chief and District Chief.

Steve Tiernan will commence his new role on Monday November 29, 2021.
