Please join us in a virtual town hall session on Thursday, March 3, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to learn and provide your feedback on the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie’s first ever Strategic Plan.
What is a Strategic Plan?
A Strategic Plan is a road map for how we will shape our community over the next five to ten years and how the Municipality will adapt to meet community needs. Once complete, the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie Strategic Plan will be a guiding document that will clearly articulate:
- What does success look like for Arran-Elderslie in 2042?
- What is the Municipality’s role in working toward this vision?
- Which corporate values are most important to ensure exceptional customer service?
- Which goals and projects are most needed in the community and have the most positive impact on Arran-Elderslie’s future?
- How can the Municipality demonstrate progress to the community during the implementation of the Strategic Plan?
Hearing from residents, businesses, and community organizations is an important part of this process.
What is a virtual town hall session?
To ensure the health and safety of participants and staff, the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie is hosting public engagement for this project virtually, using remote technologies. By joining the virtual town hall session online, you will have the opportunity to hear what has been developed so far and influence the final Strategic Plan with your feedback.
There is no need for public speaking by participants during the virtual town hall session. Opportunities to provide feedback will be provided through interactive polls and chat features in an inclusive format where everyone can participate online.

The virtual town hall will be hosted using the Zoom platform. While it is recommended that participants have downloaded Zoom to participate, this is not a requirement as the above link will allow you to join through your web browser.

If you are unable to attend the meeting and would like to provide written comments, please email cao@arran-elderslie.ca. Comments received before March 7, 2022 will be considered in the development of the final Strategic Plan.
How your feedback will be used
Feedback provided before March 7, 2022 will be summarized and provided to Council for consideration at a Special Meeting in early spring 2022. Notice will be posted on the municipal website at arran-elderslie.ca.
*Please note that this virtual town hall is being facilitated by a third party on behalf of the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie. Information collected will be provided directly to the Municipality for the purposes of informing Council decisions during the development of the Strategic Plan.
