It is with great pleasure that the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie announces the appointment of Steve Tiernan as the new full-time Fire Chief. Steve Tiernan comes to the Municipality as a graduate of the Humber College Fire Service Management Program, with Fire Officer 4 certification, and has extensive training in Emergency Management. Please be advised that on Saturday November 6th the production company Common Good will be filming scenes for a short film/TV show pilot in Paisley.
These scenes will be taking place on properties near the Inkerman and Queen Street S intersection and along Victoria Street S.
There may be short road closures associated with the filming. Thank you for your cooperation.

Arran-Elderslie COVID-19 Recreation Facility Safety Plan

As of today (September 22, 2021), all patrons entering a municipal recreational facility must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. All patrons will be required to show proof of identification and proof of vaccine status to gain entry. Exemptions include:
- Children under 12 years of age
- Youth under the age of 18 who are actively participating in sport, unless stated otherwise through the sport association
- Individuals with a medical exemption
